You can prevent Teams from automatically launching as follows: 

1. Right-click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and then click on Task Manager. 
2. In Task Manager select the Startup tab. (If you don't see a Startup tab, click "More details" at the bottom.)
3. Right-click on Microsoft Teams and select Disable. Then close the Task Manager window.
